ICON Biotech is currently seeking an In-House Clinical Research Associate (IHCRA) to join our diverse and dynamic team in Bucharest, Romania.
The Role:
As an IHCRA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting global clinical trials from within our offices. You will work closely with study teams, Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), project managers, and sponsors to ensure the effective execution of clinical studies from start-up to close-out.
This position provides an excellent foundation for future progression into a travelling CRA role, offering exposure to a broad range of therapeutic areas and trials, while remaining rooted in a collaborative, office-based setting.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting in the planning, initiation, and execution of clinical trial activities
- Conducting site feasibility assessments and participating in site selection processes
- Coordinating with investigative sites to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring study progress and data collection activities to ensure quality and accuracy
- Assisting in the preparation and review of study documentation and reports
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or healthcare
- Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in clinical research or a related field such as a CTA, Study Coordinator, or similar
- Fluent Romanian and English, both oral and written
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
