We are looking for a colleague in the Marketing Department for the position of Brand Manager. This person will join the Nespresso team and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating promotions, as well as managing the B2C product portfolio for coffee, machines, and accessories.
A Typical Day Looks Like This:
- Manage the B2C product portfolio (coffee, machines, accessories, services) by coordinating and implementing product launches (quantity forecasting, product text translations, labels, pricing, communication, and promotional strategy).
- Propose and lead the annual promotional strategy (machines, accessories, coffee) for B2C in own channels and support promotion communication with marketing materials.
- Ensure continuous improvement through pre- and post-promotion evaluations.
- Coordinate market research and monitor competitor activity (coffee, machines, accessories, services) to support local strategy and marketing plan.
- Continuously evaluate portfolio performance across all own sales channels, in collaboration with Data Analysts, Finance, and Sales Departments, to understand and initiate possible optimizations.
- Use data and reports provided by Nielsen and GFK to analyze consumer trends, customer behavior, and brand performance.
- Identify opportunities for sales and market growth.
- Support the B2C & CRM Manager in making strategic and budgetary decisions.
- Manage and monitor the sub-department’s budget (promotions, communication, and research budget).
How Can You Succeed?
- Minimum 3 years of Brand Management experience, preferably in the FMCG industry or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with market analysis and data analysis tools (e.g., Nielsen, GFK).
- Ability to interpret market data and make strategic recommendations.
- Capability to monitor and evaluate product performance and promotional campaigns.
- Creative, solution-oriented thinking, adaptability to market changes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of brand management principles, including brand development and market positioning.
- Advanced project management skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams for campaign implementation.
- Advanced level of English.
